Fanny, born March 22, 1749 married, November 11, 1772, Jonathan Ames, lived in Dublin, New Hampshire, but late in life removed to Potsdam, New York. In "Peter Powers, Pioneer", p.101, her name is noted as Fanna, very similar to an older sister who died at birth, named Phanna. So, Fanny may have been a nickname?
